QUEEN OF HEARTS

Heavily influenced by Alice in Wonderland's Queen of Hearts, the final piece is almost an exact creation of the original idea. Minor differences such as skirt length were adjusted due to body composition, while knee pad covers and wrist gauntlets were deemed unnecessary and removed entirely.

The top is constructed from black mystique foil spandex on the left side and red stretch velvet on the right side on top of a plain black spandex lining with a 2" fold over band. Each shoulder strap is 1" wide using the opposite side color, and the two middle crossing straps are 0.25" elastic cased in silver mystique foil spandex. There are also 2 gold crown shaped beads sewn down the center of the front seam.

The base of the bottoms are constructed with diagonally alternating gold spandex and black mystique foil spandex strips, while the back is silver mystique foil spandex with red mystique foil spandex heart appliques hand placed in a grid all on top of a black spandex lining. The skirt is black mystique foil spandex on the right side and red stretch velvet on the left side with a 2" waistband and silver mystique foil spandex trim.
