The first idea was more coverage and even chaps, but quickly we realized that it wasn't very practical. The second ideation was much more minimal and allows for better range of motion. The final piece we took the garter straps off and moved the back straps to only across the back instead of attaching up at the neck for ease of putting on.

Neon green spandex and black stretch velvet were used on top of a black spandex lining. The waistband is 2" elastic while the straps are 1" elastic cased in their respective colors. The leg holes are folded over 0.5" elastic. I created appliques for the back using silver and red mystique foil spandex on fusible interfacing, topped with matching flatback glass rhinestones.
